I’ve been coming to see him since the early 90’s. He is one of my favorite doctors. In a world where drs cycle thru people as fast as they can Dr V takes his time and really listens. At one point I was having to get injections in the top of my foot (yes it hurts!!!!) and he took extra time to warm the injection and distract me by just talking and shooting the shit. I always appreciated the extra effort because I was always quite anxious about the injections.
I am a runner; however, I had to stop running for approximately 20 years because I was having pain in my achilles tendon. I went to see Dr. Valenza. He performed a thorough exam. He diagnosed the problem. Dr. Valenza made molds of my feet. Dr. Valenza used the molds to make inserts (orthodics) to correct my stride. The orthodics worked. I am running again pain free. My wife had knee pain. Dr. Valenza corrected her stride as well by using the same process to make orthodics for her, and she is now running pain free as well. A ... read more
