Yesterday (Thursday night) while on vacation in Carmel Valley, our 1yo chipped her two front teeth after tripping on tile floor. I immediately called a few local pediatric dentists and left voicemails asking to be seen the next day (today, Friday) before the weekend. My son's first dentist was Dr. Mark Bayless, and from the very beginning, he was never afraid but excited to go to the dentist. He particularly enjoyed the magic tricks and the 'toys cabinet' that, after COVID-19, was replaced with a 'toys menu' at the end of each visit. We have since relocated, but we continue to drive to Monterey just for his dental appointments. If you need a kids' dentist, Dr. Bayless is the best! My daughter had a rough time with her last dentist and was super nervous, but Dr. Bayless and the whole team were so warm and friendly. They made the whole thing easy and even fun! She actually said she liked the dentist afterwards and was smiling – huge win! Highly recommend them to anyone with kids. They're amazing!
I recently visited Monterey Pediatric Dentistry and had a great experience from start to finish. The administration team is awesome, they’re friendly, efficient, and really make you feel at ease right away. The dental hygienists are fantastic too. They communicate well with the kids, making sure everyone is comfortable and even a little excited about the visit. My daughter saw Dr. Jack Bayless and he and the dental assistant were great with my daughter and made her feel so comfortable! Dr. Bayless showed her some magic tricks and gave her a squeaky duck and a squishy pink pineapple too! I would highly recommend Dr. Bayless! ❤️🦷
