Received product with bedbugs. J-Life International Company did not offer return label and forced me to keep (throw away) 379 dollar product or pay 500 dollars to return to them. J-Life knew about my complaint and when explained that UPS (without business contract) would cost 500 dollars to return, the company refused to help or refund bedbug infested product. They did not respond to Better Business Complaint.

J-Life International is a great company in my opinion. I bought a beautiful Shikifuton from them, along with a cover and pillow cases, and I could not be more pleased. The futon is made very well, and I have used it for almost a year, and I love it. I will re-order when I need a new futon. The cover and pillow cases are high quality, too.

I'm not exaggerating - this is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. We ordered a futon and a tatami mat. A week later we hadn't received the items or a shipping update, so we had to contact the company. They told us the items had already been shipped and should be in transit. 3 days later we got the futon, which actually hadn't been shipped out until we called to inquire about the order based on the date displayed on the shipping label. Business response:

The customer made the order at 9:30 pm on April 17th. We shipped the futon the next day and it was delivered on April 20th by UPS. The tatami mat comes from another supplier. and was delivered to the wrong address through a FEDEX error. We did not ship the package to the wrong address. Fedex delivered it to the wrong building. When we were notified of non-receipt by the customer we tracked the package and discovered the error.
