My complaint is consistent with what can be found on Yelp or within the other complaints here. I called J&L because I needed transmission work completed. I spoke with Jake every time. I asked for a written quote and was told that they didn't provide them because all calls were recorded. I was quoted $1,473.11 for a transmission rebuild with free labor, $97.73 for fluid & filter, and the possibility of up to $589.16 for a valve body if needed and they would have to check the case as well and if that was cracked, that would be... read more
