Dr. Kemberling was extremely helpful, professional, and personable. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes from my appointed time to see him and his staff were very courteous, friendly, and professional. He took care and time to explain what was going on, outlined my options several times (drawing pictures) and always had me leave with hand written notes about my short and long term options. Dr. Kemberling did a fantastic job on my nephrectomy. From the beginning, he took the time to explain what was happening in detail, drew diagrams for my husband and I to review, and answered our questions in plain English. He is a very caring doctor! On my surgery day, he noticed my nervousness, took time to listen, and was able to alter his procedure to make me more comfortable. I recommend him to everyone that needs a Urologist!
Very kind and caring doctor. He listens carefully, and gets to know you as a person. I have been to many doctors that rush you out of their room, and he is definitely not one of them! He seeks to understand the problem occurring, and really wants to help! I saw a few other urologists that were definitely not as thorough and kind as him. Would definitely recommend him! 👍🏼
In reading the comments and ratings on Dr Kemberling, I can't believe they are talking about the same Doctor I worked with. I was diagnosed with a severely enlarged Prostate with growth into my bladder that was significantly hindering my ability to urinate. After seeing two previous Urologists, I was referred to Dr Kemberling based on his knowledge, training and success rate in working with Laser Surgery. I have read some of the other reviews and comments about Urology Associates and some of their Doctors. While I cannot speak about the mentioned Doctors, I can comment from experience on Dr. Kemberling and his supporting staff. My experience along with my family goes back many years. Excellent and helpful doctor. Gave me options to fix my issues and fixed it with the first try
Extreme olor results. Had troll injury. He made it so.much worse. Ended up with perineal urethrostomy by another surgeon. Totally unhappy with results
Dr. Kemberling was very degrading and disrespectful of my primary care doctor- very poor bedside manner and seemed more interested in making money and taking care of me as a patient. He pushed surgery that I felt wasn't needed- I think he did this for money. Avoid this guy- he is driven by money- not medicine.
It's easy to get an appointment, but I was made to wait 45 min to an hour. This happened for every appointment I had. The staff is very curt. Dr. Kemberling has good intent, but needs to communicate better and let patients know their treatment plan. I'm sure he's had many successful outcomes, but he needs to take responsibility when they're not.
