Was boat shopping for a pontoon and heard from other companies that my target payment would not be attainable even with a sizable down payment. From the moment I walked into J & K I never heard a “No”. Joel did an awesome job! Walked in on a Wednesday and I was on the water with my new boat on Friday - 4th of July weekend no less!! Joel even met us at another location on Friday to pick it up! Would recommend J & K to anyone looking for an easy boat buying experience!!

Staying at Maplewood State Park this weekend and had problems with the boat trailer. After a couple unsuccessful attempts at some help we stopped here and the guys were totally helpful and fixed our problem rather than blowing us off. SUPER impressed! I’m from Grand Forks but if I ever need a new boat or any work on my boat I know where I’m going. Thanks guys, you did save my weekend. Now off to hopefully catch a Muskie!!!
As the program director of the DL Lakers High School Fishing Team. I just want to give a huge recommendation for the amazing staff at J&K Marine in Detroit Lakes. Matthew Michael Blanchard, Shawn Hayes and Jim Peterick have been amazing boat captains for the Lakers HS Fishing Team. Terrible storage experience. One of last pontoons to drop off for storage. Told them wanted it right away in spring. Called week ahead of time to get it out and the day before. Drove 2 hours to pick it up and not available. Happened 2 years in a row. Will NOT be using them again.
