I was trying to get apartment thru them after losing everything in a fire and they didn’t pull my credit they didnt do a background check they denied me because of a program that messed up that they accepted me thru now i am homeless with a 8 month old because i havent been at my job for a year they dont want to accept me

J&J realty are slumlords Englewood area the front door to the building lock was broken the whole time I lived there. I had to call 311 on them about fixing the electric sockets. After I begged them to fix them for a year. Roches, mice and crackhead neighbors running in and out of the building all day and night. They never fixed anything the last straw for me was all of the sinks and my tub were leaking and stopped up could use it and well they wouldn't fix them for months I had to live like that. DONT RENT FROM J&J REALTY

My daughter has been living in her unit rented by j and j reality for two months and for 43of those days she has been living with her ceiling in her bathroom wide open with wires hanging and water coming from the light fixture I would not recommend anyone to rent from this reality company SLUMLORDS ALL DAY EVERYDAY

Horrendous Experience. College age daughter looking for a new apartment. Agent was not at all helpful. Finally toured 1 apartment after weeks of trying to. Fills out Application with co-signer after telling realtor not only the co-signers credit score, but also yearly salary. Was denied- after application had to be looked over twice by them because they made a mistake. East side/south shore area: Mad I had to give 1 star. Terrible customer service. Nothing but ghetto family members working together in an office. They don’t fix anything, won’t send exterminators for rodents they’ll send one their homies to put down traps and that’s it no hole finding and plugging or anything and they’ll tell you it’s not a law in Chicago to send a professional, the front door of the building is hanging off and they won’t fix so I called 311, no working carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors, move any... read more
