Robert, Nick, Craig, Leaman and the whole crew are wonderful to work with. J&J Construction completed a remodel of our kitchen and a refresh of the common spaces in our home. While a large overhaul of our home was always going to be an overwhelming experience, J&J's work made it worth it when the project was finished. We are very happy with our new kitchen which was custom designed and put in to our specifications. This was our second bathroom remodel in less than a two year span. Although we were pleased with the company we used for a first remodel we ran into a few issues we thought could have handled better so we gave J & J a try. We could see from day one they were extremely professional and very detail oriented. The job foreman, Nick, although an imposing figure, could not have been better. Had to call more than 4x to get someone to answer the phone. They want an architect to draft plans to add a simple wall to a home, when the contractor is not required to have that for any permitting (hand drawn plans are just fine, as i have alreadycontacted the city aboutthis), making a fairly simpler project very expensive. The owner wouldn't even get on the phone to ask any questions about the project or let me know that they could help in the process. Very unprofessional and impersonal. I can say that working with Rob, Nick and the whole team at J&J was a great experience. With that being said I will be comprehensive in my review. Pros: J&J produces quality work and takes pride in their craftsmanship. They were transparent on their subs and pricing.
