I recently learned about a professional company called J & J Mechanical for heating and air conditioning installations and repairs. Soon after the January 2026 ice storm in Nashville, TN, Jason came by the same evening that I called (even though he was covered up with work that day). The outdoor heat pump had frozen solid and my fan was not working. Jason had to rewire a brand new unit that had been installed by another company in 2025. Five jobs over past two years by J&J. Good experiences with all. Three installations and an AC refrigerant check and recharge. And a frigid weather response to a problem with my heating system. Scheduling and response time good. Very quick in the frigid weather (Jan., 2026) situation. Easy to make an appointment. Staff have a lot of experience it seems. Multiple pay options including Venmo.
