While waiting for my food, I read all the reviews and felt obligated to share my review with you. If you come here, just know the owners are elderly folks. I agree with some of your reviews, that they may be lacking some Customer Service, but those wanting good authentic Mexican food should try to ignore that. I always get a machacado taco for "now" and a bean and cheese for "later." Solid neighborhood "mom-and-pop" serving up fresh, traditional Mexican food.

What a cute little place. It doesnt look like much from the outside, just a bright orange building. The food was fresh, the establishment was pristine as far as cleanliness, the staff were friendly, and you cannot find this price at most places in Austin. I don't live in San Antonio, so the hand made tortillas were a real treat for me! I love that this is a locally owned place. It wasn't busy at all when I visited around lunch on a random weekday.
