This place is my new favorite restaurant in the USA hands down. The lead server was Michael and he and his staff were exceptional. This is Michelin quality. I would not be surprised they eventually get a star. From the service , atmosphere, wine and food , there is no better place and I’ve been blessed to go to many great restaurants around the country for last 30 plus years. Btw , get the Dover sole and split it with someone !! Best fish ever. I wouldnormally never say that at a steakhouse.
Fantastic! We love the Chefs special pizza. Pepperoni and sausage pizza. Salads, desserts.
My family and I had dinner at J&G for the second time, having been here 3 years ago on a trip and vowing to return. From the service (thanks, Jose and team!) to the food (two boneless ribeyes, one Peppercorns NY strip, and one salmon, with mac and cheese, creamed spinach and the best mashed potatoes to we ever had) to guidance picking a great Argentinian Malbec it was a wonderful experience. My son was message friends back home to that if they come to Phoenix they need to visit J&G - and we all agree!
We have eaten here in the past but honestly, the steak was awful. I asked for it medium and it came back rear. Returned it and even though it came back properly cooked, only the outer 1/3 was edible. It was terribly tough and unplatable. Our friends also had steaks. One of them fought thru her steak. Her husband returned his and asked for another. The next one was no better so he returned it and filled up on potatoes. We all expected more for an $89 ribeye. Time to find another steak place
Service is outstanding. Views were so beautiful. Food was great.
