A family member passed away from Cardiac Amyloidosis that was misdiagnosed for over two years by other doctors, very few cardiologists are aware of this condition. Dr. Triana's nurse reviewed my forms, medicines being taken, and we discussed those. Dr. Triana is always friendly, checks me out, and lets me know if anything needs to be done or as usual, everything is great. It is so nice to hear that. I have known Dr. Triana since 2005. Wonderful doctor! It turned out after extensive tests (Dec 2016/Jan 2017) that I did NOT have heart issues (probably a virus that mimicked symptoms) but it took a few weeks of visits to fully determine this, and during that time I was happy to have found THE DOCTOR I will ask for IF cardio disease DOES present. He's caring and kind and thorough and I can't imagine a better cardiologist. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
