I have been seeing Dr. Van Riessen for 15 years. Over the last 3 years he went from being a doctor who carefully listened and tried to help in any way possible with empathy. Now every time that I have seen him in the past 3 years he has been condescending and dismissive of me. He dismisses things very easily and gets annoyed if you need an extra thing looked at for 5 seconds. After years of having a primary doctor, who is retiring, I went looking for a new one, for multiple reasons, one of which is 3 bone spurs pushing at different directions in my lower spine. After arriving 15 minutes early for a 1 pm appointment and brought to the back I was told, mind you never even asked why I was there, that he wasn't going to prescribe narcotics, WHO EVEN ASKED NO ONE, and scolded me like a child cause cause it was 1:10 when he walked in and his staff took so long to get me to the back. mind you I was 15 m... read more
