If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Erik was extremely disappointing. I attended my husband’s appointments to help advocate for him because it consistently felt like Erik was only interested in doing the bare minimum rather than taking the time to fully understand my husband’s health concerns or listen to his symptoms. Erek was my primary for 10 years. He's extremely unprofessional, dry, doesn't have a genuine care for his profession or his patients. He's a very, "go through the motions if he feels like it," kind of doctor. I had a serious health alterting test I was waiting for the results on he never reached out and instead I had to find out about the test results via a 3rd party medical equipment supplier calling me to ask permission to order the equipment I needed based on the test results. My wife and I have gone to Dr. Van Riessen, MD since the early 2000's and the man has always provided optimal medical service. He communicates clearly and relates as well as any other professional I've ever worked with.
