I spoke with Joe July 28th and August 1st, 2025. I have a signed contract with a Lifetime Warranty with J Cap, and the roof is leaking into the closet. He remembered my home. But both times he ended the call abruptly, with no indication that he would fix my roof. (Below photos show the leaking ceiling, and underneath the leak, the puddle on a sketchbook of warped paper on top of a blue plastic bag.) Had J Cap replace my roof almost 10 years ago. To this day still looks like new. Loved all the details from start to finish. Super meticulous on the work and the clean-up. They have answered several of my questions over the years, and I will recommend them to friends and neighbors.
Want to thank Joe at J-Cap Contractors. He solved the "mystery leak" that had been on & off for years. He knows his stuff. He listens & suggests. He works with you with respect to solve your problem. His crew is special too. Each person his own specialty. Nobody works his job better. Pride in fixing whatever was the problem. From start to clean up, J-Cap is listening, thinking, working to make whatever better. Now THIS roof will last probably more than its lifetime because it was done correctly. (It's the extra care!)
Amazing job!! Total roof replacement with a 3 layer tear off. Kept me well informed on what was needed and answered all my questions. Very professional and hard working crew!! JCAP came over to take a look at our roof. Inspected it carefully, told me that it was totally solid and would last for many years. Honest and generous about taking a look.
Joe, aka JCap, is a FAB-U-LOUS contractor! He does MUCH MORE than just roofing! He's practically rebuilt my entire 1835 house! He's done the roof, which was SO bad it had a person sized hole in it! He took care of the surprise ant infestation found inside the wood between the house and roof! He recognized and repaired, by hand, the design flaw created when the second story was added in 1850, which caused permanent leaking and the hole to form!
