Would not recommend this shop if you expect professional communication or basic respect as a customer. I came in asking simple questions about diagnostics and repair pricing for a check engine light issue and was met with an incredibly condescending attitude from the start. I understand the difference between a free code scan and a full diagnostic. That was never the issue. JC flushed my radiator and let me know what to expect and gave me a very reasonable price. Actually, better than reasonable. We started talking about Score off road racing and that’s when I knew I was dealing with a legit mechanic. He definitely will be my goto mechanic in San Diego.
If I could I give them a 0. I took my car to get checked on a Friday at 10am. The engine light was on. I was told to check back by 12 pm. When I did I was told it was hard for them to tell me what was wrong. I was advised to leave my car and they would call me at 5 pm. I left the car and they never called. I’ve been working with this shop for over 10 years, and it has definitely lost its touch. The last 3 times I have gone for a repairs, my car comes back worse and I have been SIGNIFICANTLY OVERCHARGED. I have had work done on my 2001 Honda Civic EX and they put so much silicone around my Thermostat that it clogged and created a deeper issue. The CUSTOMER SERVICE is horrendous and the owner will cuss you out for simply bringing him the car. I wouldn’t recommend saying you did any personal work to the car cause he will DEFINITELY OVERCHARGE you! It’s as if he thinks he’s the only mechanic in San Diego. Paid $100 for a little under half an hour of work and I paid for materials which is insane to me. I spent more timing waiting for them than the work they ACTUALLY preformed on my car.
