Dr Goodloe is a skilled surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. My knee problem was complex. He listened to my concerns as a patient and put his surgical skills to work. He clearly explained the issues and plan of care each step of the way. I recommend him without reservation.
I received ORIF ankle surgery with Dr. Goodloe at VCU after an unexpected fall. I’m incredibly grateful for the care I received. The whole experience was overwhelming at first—suddenly needing surgery and facing a long recovery—but Dr. Goodloe made a difficult situation so much easier to navigate. Dr. Goodloe was very thorough with my evaluation. He stated his concerns and I chose to go through with my hip surgery. I am 5 days post op and have used very little pain meds and have gone from a pain level of 10 with no sleep, to a 2 and sleeping most of the night. He called to ask how recovery was going and I also had 2 more phone calls checking on me. I would highly recommend Dr. Goodloe and staff.
Dr Goodloe repaired our son's torn meniscus. He was very thorough in his surgery, due to the location of the tear. This level of care led to a better than average recovery. Post op he personally followed up to check on our son. We highly recommend Dr Goodloe.
