J. Bestki’s serves Polish and German food in the heart of downtown Raleigh. Pierogies and schnitzel are star players of the generous menu, but there are also some surprises, like soy-sesame-spicy paprika marinade and bison flank steak. Ahhh J Betski's. What a wonderful Raleigh restaurant. The one place that changes it's menu seasonally, but usually has more specials than they do listed dishes. If you're lucky enough to encounter their take on Oysters Rockefeller or some of the special pirogies (oxtail is still one of my faves), be sure to partake! A staple in our Raleigh food rotation.
Excellent food and superb service! I especially enjoyed the pate and the duck entree. The Reisling was also delicious. I look forward to coming back soon.
Great place for dinner and beer choice. Real European style restaurant
