An incredibly qualified custom jeweler with very good prices. My first purchase was on a whim and not a lot of money. Since that time (about 3 years ago now), I have made several purchases. From high end Swiss watches, to Bohlin Western Style watches and on. JB Aldemar designed and made an incredible bracelet for my wife. for jewelry repair, JB is worth a drive from anywhere in DFW I've gotten many compliments on my unique wedding ring over the years, not to mention that it means a great deal to me. Its unusual mounting needed repair and I knew it would take an excellent jeweler to repair it without showing evidence of 'a fix.' But my budget is tight, so I shopped around alot and visited several. Since I was concerned that it still maintain its original appearance, I asked all of them exactly how the repair would be done. Local Jeweler A small jewelry shop that sells and repairs jewelry. I went in to get a battery in my watch. Unfortunately, it only worked for a few days and I had to return. Later I went to another jeweler and found out that they had installed a cheap battery and it was leaking acid. I would think twice before I returned.

Great custom work, very reasonable prices, excellent craftsmanship I happened across JB Jewelers when I used to live in the area of Coit and Park, and decided to walk in and browse the stock. Nicer pieces, a few jewelery designers resold here, but the real secret is Aldemar's design skills. I have had several pieces custom designed by him, including a beautiful octagonal halo'd OEC pendant, an expertly bezeled scapolite (soft stone, so amazed it came out with no scratches!), a lovely 5 stone OEC ring that was translated exac... read more
