I found J&B Hardwood Floors through Angie's List. We are EXTREMELY HAPPY that we went with them. From the owner to every single employee that worked on our job, they were all top notch and a delight to deal with. They installed new hardwoods and finished them. Floors look amazing. Their workmanship and attention to detail are impeccable, and the quality of their finished floors always exceeds expectations. They are reliable, professional, and a pleasure to work with.
I really liked these people until something went wrong, then the golden rule--treat people as you want to be treated--disappeared and it was all my fault. 600 sq feet of new floor cupped badly and all of a sudden I could not get them on the phone. Then it was "you must have had some moisture under there". Whose job is it to know that, anyway? Am I a flooring professional? Not really, or I would have done it myself. Other than that they did a marvelous job, but the floor is still cupped and looks terrible.
My hardwood floor needed to be recoated and had some problem areas to deal with. J&B worked with me to accomplish this to my satisfaction and came back several times, until I was fully satisfied. I heartily recommend them.
