RecommendedHad a great experience. The food was good and the staff were friendly.
The service sucked waiter kept getting the drinks mixed up an wrong. Brought all the food at once along with side salads. But we got our trout and steaks before a grilled cheese and a small apple sauce?? The service flat out sucked an floors were filthy along with what seem to be poor management.
We just left J Arthur’s the woman up front was more of help then our server.... When we got there they told us 45 mins to A hour we waited the hour!!! We get to the table which is located by the double doors by the front porch doors we sit down and I was already freezing I asked the waiter if I could move my chair to the other Sadie of the table for warmth he agreed well needless to say that didn’t help I zipped my jacket up and delt with it it took 15 mins to get out drinks and another 10 mins after the drinks came to order... read more

Poor service in a barely heated restaurant serving subpar, very overpriced food. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
This restaurant does not have any central heat it only has a wood fireplace with no blower it was in the high 20’s outside and just about as cold on the inside. We had to keep our jackets on and still froze. We ordered a 8oz & a 16oz prime rib, 2 sweet teas spent $96 I ordered mine very well done and it was a little pink they bring it out with the steak sitting in the plate full of aujus sauce surrounding it....!like you can’t cut it with out spilling this sauce everywhere and the steak taste like it was boiled n this sauce.... read more

Hi, thanks for your comments. We actually have central air and heat. In addition, we have one large wood burning fireplace in the lounge where you were seated, we have a gas fireplace in the lobby, and a second gas fireplace in the dining room. Our building is big with very high ceilings. As you probably noticed tonight, and in a large effort to keep our family, our employees, and our guests as safe as possible , the doors are constantly opening and closing , thus bringing cold air inside.
