Its nothing to write home about. Rays fish is better.
The service was good, friendly, prompt. The hush puppies were great! Sadly, the rest of the fried fish, oysters, and shrimp were pretty bland. The crust/coating was okay but I could detect no seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic, nothing) at all. My wife had the baked fish and it too was disappointing. This was our first time here. I doubt we'll be back.
I think something very seriously wrong has happened with J Anthony's I remember it being so good and for spending over $20 on these two meals and receiving a very unflavored full result of two totally separate different plates is very depressing I was told the original cook was not there that day for whatever reason there is no excuse to be serving customers nasty food
