This was my first trip to J. Alexander's, but it will not be my last. I ordered the red beans and rice as the soup of the day and was pleasantly surprised by the portion I received. I was expecting a small cup and received a sizable bowl. It was perfectly cooked and excellently seasoned. It had just th right amount of kick and the flavors blended perfectly. One of my favorites. Ahi tuna was excellent. Server was perfectly attentive.
Took my mother there for 82nd birthday. Staff was great, food was great, with the exception of too much butter in the loaded potatoes, and price was great. First time there and definitely will be going back.
