Best steak & seafood restaurant in KC in my opinion. Prime Rib is the bomb.
We always have a consistent experience every time we go to J Alexander’s! The food is always excellent as is the service!! Their “team” approach, where anyone who sees your order ready brings it, insures prompt service and hot food. This evening we met Devin, one of the managers, and although it was a hectic evening (Valentines) he took the time to visit with us, make us feel welcome and appreciated. This is why we are regulars!!

Love this place! The Filet Mignon is absolutely the best one I have had in quiet some time. Hats off to chef's who did an amazing job on the food prep!
Bad steak cut, way undercooked. Didn’t send it back because it was all gristle. Waitress saw I didn’t eat half, didn’t say a word.
Luv their two-fer martinis. The prime rib is delish. Their chicken pasta soup is my favorite. Great food. Great service. Perfect GNO!
