A great place for any occasion! – The food is of the highest quality and the staff is very knowledgeable about the food and drink. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a great meal, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere!
Used to be good but now a disaster – This place used to be good a few years back. The service that I knew a few years ago has gone downhill significantly. I had an issue with some service and asked to speak with a manager. Besides taking forever to speak with me, the manager was downright rude and unapologetic for her employees' behavior. Apparently she has been fully indoctrinated by the new corporate creed which seems to be "service at no costs." Teamwork – My husband and I went with a friend one night. I had heard bad reviews in the past so I was a little affraid. We went in and sat down. Our waitress took our order and my friend wanted to add something after she had left. We flagged down another waiter and said " Can you let our waitress know we want to add something" He said "Sure what can we add to your order". Then another waiter saw our drinks empty and filled them. I just have to say the teamwork was incrediable. I wish everyone could work that way.

Incredible Food! – J. Alexander's has become a regular place for us. Besides the fact that the service is always superb, the food is amazing. Their Israeli Couscous and Steak Maui are my favorites - always cooked perfectly and tasing fantastic. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a great meal for a more than reasonable price.
Like whodey85 i have also worked in the food industry and i do not like to complain. However my experience with J Alexanders left me with nothing to complain about. Short and simple. Excellent food! Excellent service! Leaving plenty of food leftover. However it is slightly costly but definetly worth the money. You get an excellent meal at the restuarant and with the large portion sizes it leaves you plenty to take home.
Great eats in Gwinnett – Food and service consistently great here. Have been here more than five times and each time has been a great experience. Their specials are always pretty good as well.
Our Go-To Place – So I know Im not cooking, but where do we want to go? 9/10 times we end up at J. Alexanders. The atmosphere is perfect - dark wood, dim lighting. The food is very good. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 only out of respect for places like Erling Jensens. Still, the food is yummy. The prime rib, crab cakes, fish sandwiches and even cheeseburgers are delicious!
