The food was great, but the service was average, not outstanding. After I paid and left without adding a tip, our server followed me outside and said, “Excuse me, I need a tip.” I gave her one because the situation made me uncomfortable, but gratuity should reflect the level of service—it should never be demanded. We visited this restaurant for the first time and were thoroughly disappointed. I ordered the Wonton soup and shrimp tempura, while my husband opted for sushi and fried rice. The wonton soup was just okay, lacking in flavor. The tempura was served with a few vegetables and jasmine rice. I was brought a small bowl of brown liquid that resembled the broth of the won ton soup, which was the dipping sauce for the tempura. All around a good spot in town - will be back. Almost didn’t come here because of the couple spotty low reviews, glad we didn’t listen to those.
