We really enjoyed our dinner here. Tasty food, kind and attentive service, and great atmosphere. We are really sad this place is set to close its doors end of November!
Me and my wife have been to Japan and loved the food. By far, Okan is the best quality izakaya that we have found in the US. Authentic and delicious, with fantastic service. Our favorites were the black cod, marinated beef, and braised pork.

Absolutely delicious! The peach soda was so good! The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. We had the Kobe beef appetizer, miso black cod, spicy tonkatsu ramen, fish fry, bonito flake onigiri and takoyaki. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We decided to come here on a whim and we are so happy to have found this cute izakaya! We will be back to try the other food and drinks!
