This place is a bit small but packs a punch in a good way. The food was amazing and honestly doesn't matter what you got in the menu, it was fresh and delicious. The staff are really kind and the service was great. Definitely check this place out.
Absolutely appalled by the service here. Not from Ojai and waited at the door for 10 minutes, multiple servers waived and passed us before anyone welcomed us in and told us there was a sheet to place your wait on on the opposite end of the room. Mind you this was AFTER I asked a server if I should wait at the door for service and she said yes. Happily going elsewhere.
10/10.... fish is the absolute best in Ventura county! Warm environment and specials really elevate the already amazing menu!! Highly recommend!!
Amazing, fresh, flavorful sushi; frosted mugs filled with draft asahi; wildly good wontons and smashed cucumbers. Great service, too
Tuve la suerte de conocer este restaurant en mi primer viaje a Ojai. Estaba todo cerrado porque estábamos fuera de temporada y descubrimos Izakaya, en ese momento era un pequeño restaurante con la barra de sushi y apenas unas mesitas. Se podía ver a toda la familia colaborando y tenía un aura tan especial. Quedamos absolutamente deslumbrados con las piezas de sushi y demás acompañamientos.
