Japanese techniques and Californian ingredients blend harmoniously at this charming Berkeley getaway, which flaunts a buzzing dining room and a delightful (heated) patio. Start the evening off right with an excellent (and reasonably priced) local wine on tap or a selection from the well-edited sake list. Our absolute favorite restaurant in the East Bay. Iyasare does everything right.
Great services excellent foods. We had a great dinner!
A very wide menu with a large selection of premium sake. The food was excellent and the service superbe. This is not the standard sushi boat kind of restaurant, you don’t find California Roll or Teka Maki, this is for aficionados of Japanese cuisine.
What an unexpected surprise! Delicious unique offering. You will not be disappointed
Each item was beautifully prepared, presented, and delicious. The Summer Sazarac, the scallop/foie gras, the hamachi sashimi, the prawn tempura triangles, the salmon, the duck risotto, the poached pear, the semifreddo, the green tea, the service, ambiance, vibe. All perfect.
Everything was delicious and reasonably priced for such luxury items. Definitely go!
Vibrant scene, fresh and delicious for dinner. Looking forward to coming back for lunch to enjoy the ramen.
Probably the top 2 best Asian restaurants in the Bay Area. No offense the ramen at Ramen Gaijin in Sebastopol is better but your offerings are more expansive and top notch!! A hit to Pabu/Hana-Rohnert Park!
Great food, nice location, inviting ambience.
Iyasare has a 4.5 star rating with 700 reviews.
Iyasare is open now. It will close at 6:00 p.m.
