This clinic is very helpful, especially for newcomers who are still learning how to navigate the Canadian health system. They offer orientation and services in Spanish, which makes it easier to have a conscious and informed discussion about your health with a professional.
The doc refused to listen to my symptoms and refused to consider testing that I was requesting because she said they apparently don't have STI tests at the clinic (I'm not sure how that's possible). She sarcastically told me to take ibuprofen to manage symptoms that absolutely cannot be treated with ibuprofen, and blamed me for coming in on my period when one of my issues is irregular periods. I first visited back in 2020 when it was the pandemic so I didn't have the greatest experience but I understand it's probably because of the caution and stress as a healthcare worker. Had a staff yell at me and so I was nervous to book another appointment here. I recently called some weeks ago to book some swab tests. (Ex. Pap). Thankfully this clinic was able to book me in the following week. They called me the day before the appointment for the intake form, so make sure to answer that call or they will cancel your appointm... read more
