I go to Ivy Park at Los Gatos occasionally for networking events as a professional in the senior care industry. The hospitality is world-class. I always eat and drink excellently well here.
I didn't take the tour. Because Maria got right to the point there was no need to do so. We talked for over an hour. Good talk. Her shared knowledge and advice is invaluable. With her work and life experience anybody would be a fool not to heed it. I have new avenues to explore. She refilled my gas tank. Again, a thousand thank yous. Keep up the good work!
Ivy Park is a very poorly run and managed community. They are sorely lacking in a few key areas: 1. Lack of Competent Management There hasbeen a revolving door of managerswith no one willingto addressour very real concerns. There is no General Manager just temporary substitutes Memory care currently has no manager. There was a managerfor 2 weeks, but she quit (I'm guessing due to lack of staffing) and as of now no one has taken her place. 2. Minimal Care Staff. Exceptional care is rare, but this team delivers it every single day. Their compassion, professionalism, and genuine dedication go far beyond expectations. They treat all my residents with dignity, kindness, and love, creating a place that truly feels like home. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
Unfortunately, our experience at Ivy Park so far has been a disaster. My mom moved into memory care on March 17, 2026 so she has been there for a little less than 2 months. During her time in the memory care unit, she has fallen and hit her head, had a UTI, and had pneumonia and been hospitalized for low oxygen as a result of the pneumonia. Our goal in moving her to Ivy Park was to keep her safe and this has obviously not happened.
