I took my client who has cerebral palsy, to get her nails done. She was simply there to enjoy something that so many of us take for granted — getting her nails done and feeling good about herself. At IVY , the man insisted that she get gel instead of regular polish. He kept saying that it would be easier. Ok- maybe it would be for HIM, but she does NOT want GEL ! i hated my nails! for me to spend $65 for these was a disappointment
Update: came back one year later for ‘just an SNS removal’ and it was worse than my first review. Never coming back. The woman who worked on me, Xuka, must have adjusted my hands and told me to relax more than 25x. She kept trying to bend my arm in awkward positions and would get visibly frustrated when I didn’t have my hand exactly the way she wanted.
