Overall, I enjoyed my stay at The Ivy. The decor is charming & the lodge is close enough to the most popular attractions. Wes was very helpful at check-in & gave great recommendations! The garden area/wraparound porch was gorgeous - I enjoyed having breakfast out there & observing the wildlife. Throughout my stay, I did see a silverfish & 2 spiders in my room (the Savanna). We had such a delightful weekend for my daughter’s wedding!! The owners were a dream to work with. Spectacular breakfasts. Beautiful lawn and blooming flowers. Loved the back porch - just perfect for our extended family! So accommodating to all of us. Highly, highly recommend the Ivy Lodge and will definitely stay here again the next time I come to Newport especially since it is walking distance to Cliff Walk and many of the mansions!
Can I give it 10 stars?? I spent the past weekend at the Ivy Lodge for a nephew’s wedding, and it was PERFECT. The weather was glorious so we were able to take full advantage of the absolutely beautiful grounds, so nicely landscaped and blooming at their perfection. Newport’s Hidden Gem! This place is amazing! Family owned and run BnB with gorgeous landscaping and historic charm. Wes, Alex, Jackie were super sweet and supportive throughout our weekend family affair. We rented out all the rooms for our wedding and were able to have an intimate event- where it felt like it was our own summer house. We weee able to stock the fridge, rearrange the deck furniture, and add our own florals throughout the space.
