You know going to get an infusion for five hours used to make me a little sad at the hospital but at IVX I can pretend I’m having a spa day. Everything‘s very comfortable and clean and the staff is so nice. It doesn’t feel too clinical but comfy. I love having my own room, especially as I’m dozing off or slurring words. It preserves some dignity that I didn’t feel in the shared area in the hospital.
People who work here are professional, organized, and personable - in particular, Lauren who I regularly work with. It’s a major step up from the places I’ve been in the past that were affiliated with my hospital. Plus, they provide yummy snacks and coffee drinks (yes, lattes!), and a small fridge w an array of cold drinks. The medicine is the same but it’s terrific that the surroundings are are so much nicer.
