I had a very good NY Steak and bowl of French Onion soup. This trip I had Bills Bacon Burger with shoestring fries. Food arrived hot. Good burger.
Very nice historic atmosphere. For the food, the mains were OK, and the chocolate cake dessert was still excellent. My friend is a local said the food’s not quite what it used to be, but the cake was still good.
Do not come here for drinks. Do not come here on a friday night. Do not come here for last call. Do not come here if you are a new customer. The female manager is very rude! She told me I had to leave by midnight “lock up” and I had no more time to finish my beer that I had just ordered 10 minutes earlier! I asked her if there is a curfew in Fairbanks? I am visiting from NM working for the summer. This is the best Fairbanks has to offer! Been here several times, reasonable drink prices, good looking bartenders always!! Prime rib is the best deal on fri night, steak fries are the best I have ever had!! This is a win every time!!
