I have been seeing Dr Benjamin for nine years, he did my surgery and I have done followups with him ever since. He listens, he explains and understands.
Dr. Benjamin is a good surgeon. He was thorough and timely at getting me into surgeries and removing the cancer. That being said, during follow up appointments, he spends maybe 5 minutes with me. It is hot or miss if they are running on time. He never asks questions, and blows off my questions. Never addresses my concerns. I don't consider myself to be a difficult pt. in general, but he really does rub me the wrong way. So go ahead and get your surgery with him, but I suggest you go somewhere else for follow up care.
By God's will for my life, He led me to Dr. Benjamin over four years ago. What a wonderful, smart, and compassionate doctor. He doesn't sugar coat anything for which I'm grateful. He rates high on my list as he encourages you with hope, always having the next step in my care. He has two wonderful staff members I love very much. So I'm grateful for God sending me to Dr. Benjamin! Karen F.
