I understand everyone comes from different places. I visited today playing chess, socializing with members and even created my first acrylic art piece. People are friendly and free coffee was a treat. I could see myself as a member but i do not personally share the same struggles others have on a daily basis. I realize i am new here but this place let me be me for a day. Thanks.
Love this place always has a class I need, and the staff is awesome
This place once was a really great spot for many years! I honestly really enjoyed it-Great place to play chess get a cup of coffee and meet other's with mental illness or disabilities. The groups were good and it seemed like many people went to the groups as well. In the past 2 years though it has steadily been on a rapid decline to due the homeless/drug addict population. So grateful for this place! Wonderful staff and support! But I moved to Oroville and barely ever go to Chico anymore, I miss this place. Wish there was one in Oroville
Organized lots of groups to join. People to talk to. Peer counseling. Peer led groups.
