Dr. Walks is great but I'm *this* close to switching doctors because of his admin staff. Every 90 days when I need a refill it takes multiple calls and emails before it gets done. Complete radio silence. The anxiety of possibly having to go off a med cold turkey due to their inaction is maddening and, depending on the med(s), is dangerous. All the reviews about the admin staff are true. I read it but still decided to start care with Dr. Walks. Terrible decision. He is great but that doesn’t do anything when you can’t get in touch with him for urgent issues , when you can’t get any response from the office for other requests including making appointments/getting refills . They ignore your emails. When you call , they take a message and they won’t follow up. This is unacceptable specially for type of service they provide. I will have to find another doctor.
