My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Ortiz for about a year and a half now. He listens carefully and he is the most thorough doctor we’ve ever had in over five decades. Yes, sometimes you have to wait a bit beyond your appointment time but now I can see why and I’m happy to wait to find a doctor this meticulous.
Refused to fill out paperwork for my insurance due to personal feelings and fundamental misunderstanding of the paperwork and wouldnt listen. Strung me along for over a month saying he would if I sent proof I was disabled and had diagnosis, I sent everything asked for and was told no. Condition had to be either "significantly disabling OR life threatening", I am literally disabled but because he felt I didnt meet both criteria despite only needing to meet one I didnt qualify.
Dr. Ivan A. is very knowledgeable Doctor that takes time explaining possible options with their pros and cons. He is respectful, kind, and professional!
My mom has moved to this state and has to set up dr.'s here. She can't get this dr. To get her referrals to the specialist she needs to see, telling her she has to get her own referral. Then today a nurse raised her voice and was rude to her saying it's her problem this is bad customer service I think they forget the patients pay them. You should avoid this Dr. And his office.
