I saw her twice in Lakeland when I had an isolated outbreak of psoriasis and no one else could diagnose it. The PA and NP in the office couldn't either. She came in with her regal and pleasant presence and diagnosed it within 5 minutes. Professional, yet very pleasant and a pleasure to talk to. I would recommend anyone to her. I won't be traveling to Champions, but Lakeland lost a great dermatologist!
Dr. Funieru and her staff are extremely pleasant, professional and efficient. Dr. is thorough and explains all aspects of her exam, and educates about skin care. She is so easy to talk to and takes time to answer questions. I would highly recommend her for dermatology care!
She was awesome I hoped to tKe my daughter to her but found out she moved from Lakeland. Thanks hate to miss someone who provided great care. ?
She is absolutely awesome! She misses absolutely nothing. A very small black freckle got her attention. It was Melanoma!

Dr. Funieru is very thorough. I consider her the best in Lakeland. Her nurse, Ashli, is a sweetheart. My husband has been a patient of hers for ten years (treated for melanoma - 10 years cancer free) and loves her, as well. I like that she is direct and to the point - something I expect with my doctors. I've read several reviews suggesting that she is rude and impatient. I nor my husband have had that experience. She simply tells it like it is when it comes to protecting your skin.
