I used to love this office a lot. I particularly used dr Sarah cook as my children’s pediatrician for about 5 years. After the last couple years of dealing with rude conversations, refusal to try different methods of treatments and almost no help finding different solutions for my son’s dairy allergy, and bringing in paperwork to be filled out but never returned to me with claims they don’t have anything on file, I left this office quietly a couple months ago. I scheduled a same day appointment online for 2:40 PM for an already existing patient. Rushed to get there on time to try to get my child looked at and possibly get antibiotics. They rejected me because I was not there 15 minutes earlier. There was no request for me to get there sooner. They literally told me to go across the street to a Franciscan healthcare to get seen instead. Took my kid in today for an emergency because he’s in a lot of pain crying while he’s standing there at the counter at 2 o’clock in the afternoon and they say there is no appointments available nor is there a doctor to see the child. Zero compassion for a child in pain. And this is his primary doctor in this building. How are you guys healthcare professionals. You turn away a child that’s crying in pain. IU health is disgusting.
