First, I recommend going to a different emergency room. I visited this emergency room and while the staff was kind and courteous, I unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I was told upfront there would be a long wait, but I ended up waiting over 6 hours without ever being seen by a medical provider. I understand that emergencies are triaged based on severity, but for an ER, this kind of wait time feels inexcusable and concerning, especially for those who come in with urgent needs that may not be immediately visib... read more
I had a deeply disappointing and traumatic experience at the ER today. I clearly explained my complex illness and neurological symptoms and told staff I couldn’t handle the overwhelming waiting room environment. They saw me visibly declining but did nothing to help. Despite repeatedly being told a doctor was coming to see me, no doctor ever appeared.
