Canceled my appointment 3 weeks prior after I had been waiting for 13 months. Now I get to wait 17 months while I have incredibly uncomfortable skin. As an individual on IU Health Plans, I am not able to see anyone out of network. So thank you very much.
With referral, one full year until you can get an appointment at the Lafayette office. Ridiculous!!!
Wanted to comment on the bill that I received from IU Health Dermatology not the service that I received from my provider. I went into to IU Health to get an annual skin cancer check. 3 moles were removed for a total of $539 each before my insurance. The prices that IU charges insurance is astronomical. I already pay my insurance premiums and my deductibles. The lack of clarity and transparency in the billing process when a person wants to know the actual cost of a procedure is upsetting.
