I don't recommed iu hospital they won't let a husband stay with there scared wife while she's admitted. They only want the money don't even care about there patients. And they give you the run around when you try to get ahold of urology. They lost my business. Oh and they still continue to give pain medicine to people who are black listed from there hospital because they go there just for pain medicine.
I had gotten a surgery on 29 September and I was admitted overnight I believe it was the mother and Baby unit Fiona my night Nurse was amazing. Oh my God she went above and beyond to help Me she took really good care of me. I’m trying to get her recognized, she deserves nurse of the year some type of recognization she was great. She really listened and cared. Arrived for appointment for my daughter. Went to help desk . Instructed to go to ground level for registration. Ground level says go to second floor. In amongst our travels inside the facility we were able to locate staff who we unable to tell us where registration was located. It always amazes me how so many people with incorrect or no information work at a place you go to for information . Sometimes life saving information. The front end staff sets the example for the facility .
They are for making money only. My husband went in to get tested for Lyme disease and they told him he needed an xray and a ct scan I told them we refused the xray and ct scan but the doctor said he really needed it done. Everyone I talked to said no he didn't they just needed to draw blood. We got the summery from medicare the ct scan and xray were $3624.00 the total bill was$16000.00 after the fact I learned we could have went to laccorp for $199.00. What a joke the hospitals are!!!
