My grandpa was taken in and was completely neglected and ignored. His pill regiment was ignored, his thirst not met but with a small cup of Luke warm water upon request, his urinal not emptied, nurse oblivious and lost in their own hospital. Nothing for pain, slow to get anything done. When I was there the nurse was simply missing. I respect nurses but this is unacceptable and is the fault of the hospital as I have had nothing but negative experiences. Fransiscan is slow but the bare minimum at least.

I went to I U hospital with a friend. While I was waiting for her to get finished, I went to the cafeteria to get something to eat. Other than frozen Amy's gluten free and the salad bar there was no gluten free food. There were things could be made gluten free, but I got the impression that the hospital doesn't think it's important. I can't believe a hospital offers almost nothing gluten free to eat. It's pitiful, but not unusual.
great professional staff, access to top tier physicians and procedures. impressive food.
My cousin went there after being drugged at a local bar by a bartender and was treated so poorly by medical staff. They let her IV leak and passified her concerns. Instead of ruling out an issue, they treated her like a drug addict. What kind of medical staff doesn't treat a pt in an emergency situation with such disregard. Obviously they have nurses and doctors that have a level of incompetence that should be reported. What a shame!
