Overall the meal experience was good. I was a little disappointed with the portion size of my pompano on the entree although it was prepared nicely. The crabmeat beignets were good. The strawberry cake dessert was disappointing because I was expecting a cake like a angel food cake and the cake was packy and had a fruitcake type texture. The “Itta Bena coffee” I was not expecting a martini style drink although the taste was good.
This place was amazing!!! From the ambiance to the FOOD. SO SO SOOOO GOOD. I went with my friend who is expanding her food horizons and is a bit picky. She loves the food!! The crabmeat beignets, snapper soup, wedge salad and red snapper were awesome. Everything was hot and flavorful, well seasoned. Our waiter Marco was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back!!!
Great service! Manager comped 1st found of drinks because bar was backed up. Lamb chops were to die for so delicious! I had them with the red demi wine glaze on the side & cooked to medium temperature...perfect! Oh the crabmeat beignets for appetizers was awesome as well! And the rolls are baked to order so fresh, warm & soft. Jambalaya was good as well the shrimp were large and cooked just right. I worked at the Memphis location 6 years ago and it’s like being back home. Thee food consistency is disgustingly amazing!!!! The server was above all expectations and she always kept a genuine smile. The manager was amazing and we saw him regularly while we were there. We were well taken care of the entire stay. I will definitely be back.
Came here for magical dining—superb!
We’ve had drinks here a couple times while listening to a pianist. This time we decided to eat here and we were not disappointed.
