I visited the It’s Sugar location at Atlantic Station today with my grandchildren. While shopping, I noticed several images displayed throughout the store that I found unsettling and inappropriate for a family-friendly environment. The pictures were visible in multiple areas and made both me and my grandchildren uncomfortable. As a grandmother, I was disappointed by what felt unprofessional and unsuitable for a store that clearly attracts children. I hope this concern will be taken seriously.
Very disappointing experience. The saleswoman was extremely rude while we were trying the samples. We only tried two gummy bear chocolates, and she immediately snapped at us saying “that’s the only sample you can try” in a very disrespectful tone. When you’re expected to buy overpriced sweets, the least you should be allowed to do is taste properly before purchasing. The attitude was unwelcoming and made us uncomfortable. My family and I were at Atlantic station shopping when we stopped by its sugar. They had a sign that said buy one get one free stuffed animals. My autistic son wanted the Oreo stuffed animal but my daughter wanted a different stuffed animal along with buying g some of your delicious candy. We got to check out with a snappy lady that said you ca. get these they are not buy one get one they are buy 2 get one. The sign clearly stated buy one get one. This place was closed at 8:30pm. I asked the worker that was leaving out, what time they closed on Friday and she told me 8:00 p.m. The website clearly states that they close at 10:00 pm on Friday. I swear, some young people!!!!
