Amazing food and service, personally had server and manager wait on us to ensure we would be ob time for our show.
I haven't been to Italian Village since I was a child in the late 1960s. I remember we went there because of the awesome pizza. I have not frequented Chicago since these days, but did find myself downtown meeting my wife after her job moved downtown.We decided to dine here after an afternoon of touring the city. It was a good cap to a good day.Not only was the pizza as good as I remembered but the service and ambience were also outstanding! Hoping to get back soon!
I Have been going since I was a kid! Last night went for my mother 80th birthday!! Service and food! Awesome!! Must add though... little to crowded for big parties!!
My boyfriend took me here for dinner for my birthday and it was absolutely amazing! The staff was great and the food was beyond wonderful! Italian food is my favorite so I'm very picky and this was some of the best I've had in a long time! I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Chicago �
Foodies and traveling couples staying in Downtown Chicago from Florida. Hyatt recommended several Restaurant although when Italian Village was mentioned I wad reminded when 40 years ago when I worked for the Marovetts law firm. Excellent service, food, win and ambiance. Will return again.
This fantastic iconic Chicago restaurant is a old school charmer that is not found in the newest, flashiest restaurants. Incredibly delicious meals served with prompt attentive service. We enjoyed the Valentine's Day special of surf and turf served with sautéed spinach. The menu also provided a sugggestion for wine pairings with the meal. As a starter the Calamari was superb.
