First time visiting this restaurant we went for my boyfriends birthday because we had seen a segment on WGN about the restaurant and there homemade meatballs that were .90 cents today for their Anniversary. It's 3 different restaurants in one building we ordered from the Italian Village menu I got the baked mostaccioli and boyfriend got the spaghetti with meatballs. Food always good (4 to 5 stars). Service is 4.5 stars. Atmosphere hands down 5 stars. Love the place...
Absolutely a Chicago institution. I've moved away from Chicago and have not been here in years. Most other diners were headed to the theater and the staff always asks if you're going to the theater so they can get you in and out quickly. My meal was delish and was exactly how I remember it tasting!
i was worried about not being able to make a reservation since there was only 2 of us, but the wait was maybe 20 minutes. management and servers were great with my allergy. They actually brought out the fried potatoes i ordered, and before i could even eat them, someone was back taking them away because of the allergy. i look forward to going to the other restaurants attached
