(Perkins Location) Upon approaching the door, we were greeted by a picture of a toilet! That should have been our cue to go to Sushi Yama. The restaurants tables, floor, bathroom, and most probably everything else was sticky and smelled like burning grease, gunpowder, dry rot, and mold. Our dining experience would have been okay had it not been for our waitress chasing flies around the restaurant swatting at them. I started going to Italian Pie in 2015, and the food and service is always exceptional! I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Yum!
I come here because of the food and service, the bonus is its proximity to my office. Always a wonderful experience and a great lunch menu with some healthy offerings. My glass is never empty either because of the terrific staff. It has become my regular lunch stop location.
(Perkins Road Location) Love this place! We had one in Lafayette years ago and it was very sad to see it go. My daughter is at LSU now and this is our new favorite place to go. The service is outstanding! The people are very nice and friendly, and most importantly the food is fantastic!
