The origin of Italian Peoples Bakery goes back to 1936 when Pasquale Gervasio, the patriarch of the family, opened a bakery on Hamilton Avenue in Trenton, New Jersey. Over the years his reputation for making wonderful bread spread.Today, with over a half dozen locations, we are a staple of the Central New Jersey area with a reputation for cakes, deli trays, pastries, and wholesale baked goods.

RecommendedItalian Peoples Bakery and Deli has been around for ever. I used to live near them in the burg . And smelled there bread every morning. Walked over on Saturday mornings to but pastries snd bread.
Apple pie fermenting and was so bad could not be eaten. Also for a Saturday the rolls were stale. Disappointed and will not be going the extra miles for their products in the future.

I ordered my wedding cake from Italian People's Bakery and loved it! I gave Matt a picture from pinterest, & the cake that was delivered was identical! Our venue included a wedding cake, but after having other cakes from Italian People's my husband and I decided we had to have Italian People's cake for our wedding day. It's sad how the quilty of the best bakery in town has just plummet into the sewer....every time I "try" them again everything I get is stale, taste cheap and taste like the fridge...my family has been going to IPB since I can remember. We always bought trays of cookies and treats...always had the best of quilty....I don't know what happen thru the years but it really is inedible now....I was embrassed serving my treats last night to company bc nothing I purchased tasted GOOD at all...the Cannoli were not even properly fille... read more
